Lymington Thursday Night Racing – Thursday 25th April
Whilst Norama is based at Lymington Town Sailing Club she will be taking part in a number of racing events in the western Solent.
This is your opportunity to race in the Thursday night racing series hosted by the Royal Lymington Yacht Club. You will meet your skipper, Jane Wild, at the boat on the LTSC pontoon at 1600hrs ready to sail the race area. Typically there are some 90-100 boats out racing on Thursday nights split into six classes. After racing you are welcome to join the weekly prize giving at the Royal Lymington YC which is always well attended and great fun or back to the bar at LTSC to unpick the race.
You do not need any racing experience, however, a good understanding of sailing is essential, as you can imagine, with 90 boats milling around the start line. The Notice of Race can be read HERE. Race entry fees will be paid by the JLPSC.
Hot drinks, life jackets and wet weather gear are available on board.
