The John Lewis Partnership Sailing Club (JLPSC) has a fleet of five ocean-going yachts, based on the river Hamble near Southampton, and the sailing season lasts from April to November. To check when we’re sailing and what we have planned please check out what’s on our sailing activities pages.
No previous experience is necessary – all our trips are led by our fully qualified skippers most of whom are Partners or retired Partners. Skippers and other crew members will guide you through your trip, ensuring you’re never out of your depth and you get to play an active part in the experience. You can choose to sail with friends from your branch or meet new people as part of a mixed crew; can book your spouse or partner to sail with you, and at certain times can bring along guests who are not Partners.
JLPSC is a recognised RYA training establishment. The development of expertise at all levels is seen to be important and through the Club you can have access to first class training at all levels up to Offshore Skipper.
The Club is keen to develop relationshipships with other sailing Clubs either through affiliation or other reciprocal agreements.
